| The goal of these workshops is to prepare young people of minorities and woman to make their own films. Through this process they get to know and keep their identity. Through the cooperation between different minorities, they get and know diversity in culture and identity |
• The idea behind |
The idea behind the workshop is to help the participants to look into their identity. Through the cooperation between different minorities, they are being confronted with diversity culture and various identities.
The priority of the seminar lies on the participation of women with minority backgrounds. The aim is to support them to become an active multiplier (filmmaker) of their perspective.
The workshop is explicitly embossed by a migrant perspective on society. |
• Target groups: Students, Women, ethnical groups |
• Running the time for all of Workshops: one term
• The workshop with the minorities in U.S opens the filmmaker the opportunity to get to know the similarities and differences of the situation of minorities with ethnic minorities in Europe. Fields of interest are the position of Women in society, Integration of minorities, Human rights, sexuality etc.
